Descriptif du cours: This B2+ 100% online course will enable you to discover The United Kingdom, its society and its institutions. You will explore key aspects of British life while expanding your language skills in the context of academic studies. The course is built over 6 chapters. A new chapter will open every two weeks and covers approximately 3-4 hours of work, so plan to work 2 hours every week. You will receive regular reminders throughout the semester. The first chapter will open the first day of your semester (week 1). The course ends week 13 with your final online test.
You are free to study at your own pace. Most activities have been written as part of 30 mn mini-modules, giving you maximum freedom to organise yourself. EXCEPT for the final online test which will open ONLY between DEC 16 and close⛔ on 22 December.
Your final grade will be based on two short tests throughout the semester (short test # 1 for chapters 1&2, short test #2 for chapters 3&4, and a slightly longer final online exam recapping all the chapters. The completion of all the different moodle activities is also essential in order to validate this online course.
